My name is Rachael and I am the author/owner of Uninvincible Mom. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support in helping me achieve my goal of going from a SAHM to a WAHM. I am 25 and my incredible little boy is 2 – our birthdays are just a day apart! I love long walks on the beach, Chapstick, hand sanitizer, coffee mugs, and I’d be totally lost without my planner. Keep reading to see what I can help you with! If you find that we are aligned in any way, I’d appreciate if you’d subscribe to my email list:

My son is my entire world. He has caused me to change immensely as a person (in a good way!) from the moment he arrived. His very existence inspires me to be the absolute best version of myself. You will find out how much I love being his mom and being able to stay at home with him and provide him with the best care possible in this crucial stage of his development. This passion of mine has also come with some obstacles. I have to get creative in finding ways to take care of myself, while also taking care of him all day, in order to be the mom that I have set out to be. This can be seriously hard some days!

I chose to start this blog as a creative outlet and new opportunity for personal development, while also creating a new source of income for our family. If I am successful, this will ensure that I am able to stay home with my son and my mom (who is facing health issues) as long as I would like, give me the freedom to work from wherever I choose, and meet the needs I have of building something for myself and continuing to grow as a person. The financial gain is definitely a huge factor, but equally prominent is the fact that I am driven to make something of myself while helping others along the way. My true passion has always been in encouraging and serving others in any way that I can. I hope that in the future I can provide further value by sharing the knowledge gained through this experience. Motherhood is so challenging and rewarding in itself, but many women aspire to find purpose in other areas of life as well; I’d love to help other moms work from home to take care of their families while sharing their gifts with the world!

Baby on the Boardwalk

To understand the passion that motivated me to launch Uninvincible Mom, you should probably know about my amazing group of mom friends. There are three women in particular who are part of my “neighborhood” (village is too vague here, this is more like the inner circle of the village). We have a Facebook group chat that we utilize daily to keep in touch, make plans, and support each other through the drastic ups and downs of first time motherhood. These women build me up. They show me what true authenticity is by admitting their faults and struggles openly an unabashedly. They are real life super moms – except they aren’t, because that is an elusive concept that none of us can live up to!

These girls play a huge role in my choosing Uninvincible Mom as the title of my blog. We regularly encourage and lift each other up, throwing around the term “super mom” a lot, and rightfully so to some respect. Motherhood is hard work! These ladies are rocking it! However, they would absolutely agree with me in saying that none of us are doing things perfectly, and that is 100% okay. Totally normal!

Here’s to the normal moms. The imperfect moms who are trying their hardest and doing everything in their power to provide the best life possible for their children; The ones who know that they aren’t invincible to the inevitable failures and mistakes we will make, and who handle the struggles and curveballs life throws our way with dignity and grace. Or sometimes not! I believe that God has made me a mother, and filled my life with such amazing people, to challenge me and help me grow to my fullest potential. I have been made aware of so many character defects I possess through this new experience, but I have also been exposed to powerful qualities inside of myself I had never known to be there. I absolutely love being a mom more than I ever thought possible. I have been blessed with the opportunity to stay home and focus all of my time and energy on my son, which I will be eternally grateful for. I have an amazing significant other, and my son is lucky to have him as a father. My family is amazing. My village is jam-packed with love and support.

My main goal at Uninvincible Mom is to share that with you. We can’t do this on our own, that isn’t the way that we were created and it isn’t the way we thrive as human beings! I strongly feel that the extent I choose to rely on God and my support system is directly related to how I am doing as a mom! I want to make sure that every mom—and anyone else—has access to that kind of support.

I hope to encourage and inspire you to be the best person and parent you can be, and to empower you in your imperfections. To make self-care a priority, not only because you can better help others that way, but because you are so important, too! To build a community of support and encouragement, and to inspire you and your children to share my passion for service and loving others by getting even the smallest members of your family invested. Imagine how many people we will reach and the amazing, important lessons our children will learn in this process!

So, there you have it. Uninvincible Mom was born in the idea that no mom out there really has it all together, and that we all need all the love and support we can get – which we should freely and abundantly share with others! Just to quickly sum up some of the topics you will find here: self-care, personal growth/development, helping others, service, loving our families, and taking care of our children. I am really excited about this! I plan to learn more from my readers than I will probably ever have to teach, and promise to hold myself accountable when I post to share the raw truth rather than project the illusion of perfection. In no universe would that be an accurate depiction of my life! There are so many things I would like to be better at or have all figured out. I hope that we can learn and grow together.

I am eager to start getting to know you guys, what your goals are in these areas, and how I can help you reach them! I’d love for you to leave a comment here or shoot me an email telling me a little about yourself, what you are struggling most with, and what you hope to find here at Uninvincible Mom. Thanks so much for stopping by!
